Portrait.  Screenprint. Words. Glamorous. Fashion. Pop culture – all covered on a   vintage record cover. Elements of pop culture are remixed. From a series of   vintage screenprints in pop art style with silver screen printing and black   oil paint on randomly selected vintage record covers. Words and typography   set the stage. They interact with the portrait and the mythical background   made of fragments from the original record cover... Thoughts and memories   awaken. Framed in a black wooden shadow gap frame.
A tribute   to PIL (Public Image Limited) on vintage record covers. The words 'THIS IS   NOT A LOVE SONG' are not just a provocative message but also a statement   about modern relationships and emotions. Here, elements of pop culture are   remixed – iconic indie songs from the early '80s are brought back to life   with song titles in black oil paint. Framed in a black wooden shadow   gap frame.
